Interesting little anecdote: In the early 90's White Plains bus won the bid for the Bedford Central School District.
However the decision was appealed by rival bus company Bronco Bus (the second lowest bidder). They claimed that because
the bid was awarded to "Bedford Bus", it was invalid because white plains bus had not filed papers stating they were conducting
buisness under that name. The council dismissed the appeal. More info
