Gray Fox
Urocyon cinereoargenteus

Gray foxes are found in wooded and brushy areas across New York State. Small mammals make up a large part of their diet, but they will eat everything from carrion to acorns, when available. Their front paws have curved claws and they are known for their tree climbing ability.
